¡Nos Fuimos!
Healthy & Ready for the Future
Latino Leadership was awarded with the Red Nose Day Fund Grant, in alliance with UnidosUS, to be part of the initiative Healthy & Ready for the Future.
Through this grant, Latino Leadership created the program ¡Nos Fuimos! Ready and Healthy for the Future to help lead families and their children on a path of self-sufficiency and integration. These families, which were affected by the hurricanes Maria and Irma, are currently participating in a 15-week series of workshops designed to equip them with the necessary skills to achieve a better quality of life through:
- Job skills training
- Tutoring to meet their English/Technology needs
- Nutritional education
- Emotional counseling
