ETC. Education

Latino Leadership’s ETC. Education program is an education initiative that aims to increase employability and civic skills for first/second generation Latinos and legal permanent residents through the following three core education areas:

English:

Through computer software conversational/employment English is taught. These self-paced classes provide students with a general overview of the English language.

Technology:

In partnership with LULAC, Latino Leadership provides technology assistance through the Empower Hispanic America with Technology program. Computers are available free of charge for the use of the community.

Civics:

Latino Leadership understands that in order to be a productive member of society, civic engagement is a necessary attribute. Civic engagement is not only limited to voting. It encompasses being a responsible parent, homeowner, member of the community.

Computer Lab

TECHNOLOGY:

Latino Leadership, in partnership with LULAC and AT&T is advancing education, careers and quality of life through access to technology.

The Latino Leadership Technology Lab is open Monday – Friday from 9 – 5. At the offices, members of the community are welcome to use the computers to surf the web, complete homework, locate employment and more.

Use of the computers is free-of-cost. There are minimal fees for printing and faxes.
